PALS offers social/recreational/educational opportunities that motivate and stimulate the learning interests of children in a safe environment, while providing much needed respite to families and working parents. We offer a wide variety of activities appealing to a broad range of interests and abilities. Our goal is to offer programs for children within a broad functional level to meet the needs of a larger range of children & families.

Children who participate in our programs will learn to interact socially with others and will form satisfactory ongoing interpersonal relationships and friendships. They will experience and develop an increase sense of independence and self-sufficiency.

PALS is an after-school program developed to provide social interaction for children with special needs. PALS offers age appropriate games and activities in a safe and structured environment.

As a parent of a special needs child, I am extremely aware of the need for programs that encourage socialization, so we can help our children to generalize this information and carry it with them into the community. My son participates in the PALS after-school program. This is the first social experience for my son other than family and school. I am thrilled with his enthusiasm and excitement about the program. His bus monitor tells me that he is always happy and she can hardly keep him in his seat when he gets to PALS. I see that my son has gained confidence and is more independent since attending this program. Because of the special needs of children like my son they need our attention and care 100% at all times.
